We're thrilled: PlateParrot is on the App Store! Starting today, you can download the app for free on iPhone and iPad.

PlateParrot is your smart shopping list app. It makes sure your list shows exactly the amounts you really need, so you only go shopping once and throw away less.

Sound familiar? Three dishes, and onions are on the list three times. How many that adds up to, you work out in your head at the store. In the end there's too much in the fridge, or something is still missing.

In PlateParrot, you add a recipe to your list with one tap. The app combines identical ingredients into one entry and adds up the amounts. Cooking for more people? Just pick more servings, and every amount adjusts.

And if plans change? If a dish is off, take its recipe off the list, and PlateParrot recalculates. The onions for the other dishes stay put.

Anything else you need, just add it. The list sorts itself by supermarket aisle, so you walk through the store once. You don't need an account for any of this.

This first version is just the beginning. We keep developing PlateParrot and follow your feedback. [Tell us](/contact/) what you're missing.
