Communication is possible in German and English. For recipients of the service this address is a direct route to us; it requires neither an account nor the use of automated tools.

Notices of illegal content (Art. 16 Regulation (EU) 2022/2065): any individual or entity may notify us of content they consider illegal. No account and no app are required; an email to info@plateparrot.com is sufficient. So that we can assess a notice, it should contain:

1. a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is illegal,
2. as precise an indication as possible of where the content can be found, such as the username or the name of the list,
3. your name and email address,
4. a statement confirming that, to the best of your knowledge, your information is accurate and complete.

We confirm receipt and inform you of our decision once we have taken it. How we handle notices, and which remedies are available, is set out in section 9 of our Terms of Service.

Users of the app can also submit a notice directly from within it. In that case we already know your contact address from your account.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

Liability for content

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws pursuant to § 7 (1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is, however, only possible from the point in time at which a concrete infringement becomes known. Upon becoming aware of such infringements, we will remove this content without delay.

Meldung rechtswidriger Inhalte (Art. 16 VO (EU) 2022/2065): Jede Person und jede Einrichtung kann uns Inhalte melden, die sie für rechtswidrig hält. Dafür ist kein Konto und keine App erforderlich; eine E-Mail an info@plateparrot.com genügt. Damit wir eine Meldung prüfen können, sollte sie enthalten:

1. eine hinreichend begründete Erläuterung, warum der Inhalt rechtswidrig ist,
2. eine möglichst genaue Angabe, wo der Inhalt zu finden ist, etwa der Benutzername oder der Name der Liste,
3. Ihren Namen und Ihre E-Mail-Adresse,
4. die Erklärung, dass Ihre Angaben nach bestem Wissen richtig und vollständig sind.

Wir bestätigen den Eingang und teilen Ihnen unsere Entscheidung mit, sobald wir sie getroffen haben. Wie wir Meldungen bearbeiten und welche Rechtsbehelfe bestehen, steht in § 9 unserer Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen.

Nutzerinnen und Nutzer der App können eine Meldung auch direkt dort abgeben. In diesem Fall kennen wir Ihre Kontaktadresse bereits aus Ihrem Konto.

Verbraucherstreitbeilegung

Wir sind nicht bereit und nicht verpflichtet, an Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle teilzunehmen (§ 36 VSBG).

Haftung für Inhalte

Als Diensteanbieter sind wir für eigene Inhalte auf diesen Seiten nach den allgemeinen Gesetzen verantwortlich (§ 7 Abs. 1 DDG). Nach den §§ 8 bis 10 DDG sind wir als Diensteanbieter jedoch nicht verpflichtet, übermittelte oder gespeicherte fremde Informationen zu überwachen oder nach Umständen zu forschen, die auf eine rechtswidrige Tätigkeit hinweisen.
